Maxwell House is one of the most well-known coffee brands in the U.S. The company is a division of Kraft Foods and was named after the Maxwell House Hotel located in Nashville, Tennessee. Aside from being a staple in grocery stores, the brand has somehow become part of American pop culture.
It became the best-selling coffee in the country until the 1980s. The brand now ranks second to Folgers. Because of this, the company has made changes in its marketing and created a new line of coffee blends that will capture the consumer market.
